The Creative Bubble takes students’ creativity and interests to provide fun, exciting and unexpected series of events across Swansea City Centre. - A little more about me:
- Just graduating from a BA(Hons) in Performing Arts at Swansea Met, I have finished an Enterprise intership within the Uni in the Business sector. This had lead to my creation of a brand, Creative Bubble, which aims to target creative students, network, collaborate and inspire them with the underlying theme of business start up. This has now branched as a huge project across Swansea, with our Empty shop on 31 Craddock street where students can put on events in there as well as around Swansea City Centre.
Recently I have just finished employment at Swansea Met Uni as a Marketing assistant working on Creative Bubble, Olion youth festival and working with external hirers. I have been working a lot with Tan Dance, for the Intergen, Swansea live and Olion festival projects, dancing with them myself.
Creative Bubble also allows me to perform with ShellShock Theatre and begin my own company, Memento Theatre of which I am the founder. Memento sees a range of talents and ideas with leaderships in each role taken by the person interested on the certain project.
I am attempting to branch this into Cardiff where I am taking an MSC in Events Management as well as looking into external training in dance, performance and circus.
I have also taken to Burlesque performance and will be making my debut with The Bluestocking Lounge at some point in the future.
I am a former dancer and keen to get back into this with Burlesque, pole dancing and soon back to street, ballet and contemporary.
I am slowly beginning my own Theatre company, Memento Theatre, with a range of different styles. These have begun with collaborations with my first business, Creative Bubble and collaborations with other practitioners; hoping that through this I can become a practitioner myself.
Meanwhile, I am looking for any experience in Theatre that I can take, mostly in South Wales till I reach London.
