What I do:

I manage an aftercare service for drug & alcohol users & also an employment support service, also focused at substance misuse

A little more about me:

My main purpose in becoming involved in NTW is to try to find ways that our participants can become involved in order to enhance their recovery

Location:

Our services cover RCT, Merthyr, Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent & Torfaen

Projects I’m working on:

As well as the core service provided by the peer mentoring team, we aim to help our participants to access as wide a range of diversionary & volunteering opportunities as possible. We also try to encourage our participants to explore their innate creativity & currently have 3 excellent art groups delivered in-house.
