Profile Information

What I do:
Stage Manager
A little more about me:
I have been involved in several theatre projects over the past couple of years but I also became manager of an art gallery more recently. I'd say that I have learnt many skills along the way in terms of all things technical, creative and problem solving. Management is probably what I'm best at although I do enjoy writing, costume making, prop making and just generally being involved.
Location:
Cardiff
Projects I’m working on:
Having spent the past 18 months managing the gallery, I've been involved with managing, organising and running all of their events and gallery exhibits. I'm now really looking forward to stage managing an upcoming tour with Likely Story and am eager to get back into the world of theatre full time.

Bandwagon Theatre: Our Edinburgh Fringe (Day 10)

Before I begin, I want to make it clear that I'm in the middle of some celebrating.

It's our last night - I can't believe it. So we're all having a last little gathering and will be visiting some local establishments later on this evening.

I suppose as it's the last night I should start summing up our time here, but putting all of our experiences into just a few lines is near impossible. I've learnt plenty, not only about the Fringe but about the people I'm here with, Edinburgh… Continue

Bandwagon Theatre: Our Edinburgh Fringe (Day 9)

Another show, another day gone in the blink of an eye.

We've literally just realised that we've been living in near luxury for the past 9 days. The 7 of us have been sharing a modern, clean, fully functioning apartment and we've even had our own beds. Amazingly, we hadn't been aware of just how fortunate we are to be in such a comfortable residence. We just had a rather long conversation with another company who are at our venue, and they asked us whether we felt the same way as they… Continue

Bandwagon Theatre: Our Edinburgh Fringe (Day 8)

First of all - good news, no nightmares.

Unfortunately, Edinburgh's heat wave came and went in two days and so it's back to usual working conditions; rain, rain and more rain. Not excellent news but our newly evolved webbed feet have come in handy and traipsing around Edinburgh handing out flyers is no longer a major challenge. It seems that the general public were slightly deterred by the weather today though, resulting in minimal audience numbers and somebody else's show at our… Continue
