I am a Welsh-Iraqi writer, actor, performer, deviser, comic and general show-off.
I was born in Swansea. It was there I began my theatre career with the West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company. Following that I became a member of the National Youth Theatre of Wales before studying English & Drama with Education at Cambridge University. I rounded off my formal education with a masters in Advanced Theatre Practice at the Central School of Speech & Drama.
Since then I have been working mostly within comedy - I've co-written & starred in four Edinburgh shows with John-Luke Roberts which garnered an embarrassment of wonderful reviews. I've also worked as an actress for several theatre companies & worked within TV and radio as a writer & performer.
I also really enjoy making socks.
