In January 2019 I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of working professionally in the arts (having worked as a teacher for over 18 years). As a teenager I was fortunate enough to work with Michael Bogdanov and this experience has stayed with me and inspired me to leave my profession and start a new journey. I am addicted to theatre and whilst I enjoy consuming as an audience member I thrive on the process of creation and want to be part of the invite to my own interpretations to every part of a work, from the initial seed of an idea to the full scale delivery of a performance.
I seek to make theatre through writing and directing and look for opportunities to be welcomed and supported in this wonderful industry. Seeking freelance work and the chance to apprentice an experienced director and company. Directing theatre is my ambition with the aim to create performances and theatre of the highest quality that is playful, rooted in understanding and inspiring.
Projects I’m working on:
Script - Working Title 'I'm not afraid of Virginia Wolf'
