Looking at the bus and train timetable it would difficult for me to travel to Manobier from Caerffili and impossible to return, especially with the flooding. However, as I said, if there was a composer interested in a song cycle/musical type of entertainment I would be interested in writing the lyrics.
Very interested to hear about Go tell the bees and the session at the Castle Inn Manobier on the 17 Feb. I sent a copy of my song relating the history of Capt Furze - the man o war from Manobier - to the Castle Inn some time ago and as I heard nothing I didn't chase it up but having read about Manobier's unique history I'm sure there would be enough material for a musical, perhaps set in the castle.
