Born in Penywaun, raised in Mountain Ash, I'm now a Cambridge-based writer and performer.
A little more about me:
Winner of Drama Association of Wales' International One Act Play Competition with Mum's The Word. It explores the transition to new motherhood and the impact on a woman's identity, through the eyes of a mother and her two adult daughters. A 3-hander for women.

Just Jack

Act 1 of Just Jack, a Saville-gate play for today

In 1970 Jack, a new young and trendy Drama teacher ends up kissing a 15-year-old pupil as they rehearse alone. In 2013 as they set up his retirement 'do', allegations are made against him by a young girl.

The play examines the impact on the whole family.

Shurl sells out at V.Fringe

After being nominated for the Outstanding Performance Award at Prague fringe in May, An Audience With Shurl sold out at V.Fringe on The Isle of Wight this month. Shurl will go to Boston and NYC in January, but first you've got a chance to catch her in Cambridge (England!) 26-28 Sept at Corpus Playroom, 7pm.
