What I do:: Hi, I'm looking to get back involved in community based voluntary work. I've got DipHE in Youth & Community work, been involved in peer-education for many years, qualified FETC and social work practice teacher and NVQ assessor. That's my 'community' background - my day job is an electrician qualified in installation, testing & inspecting, i've also got skills in plastering, carpentary, bricklaying and general building

You could have a look at community theatre company's like orbit or everyman I'm doing some design work for their theatre festival shortly.
