A little more about me:
I trained as an actor at the (Royal) Central School of Speech and Drama, London and as a Theatre Director at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. I have directed numerous plays at the Bristol Old Vic, for the theatre school and other Bristol venues and in the London fringe. I have been on director attachments at the RSC and WNO. I was Artistic Director of the Royal Theatre Club, Amman Jordan directing several musicals, chamber operas and plays and artist in residence at the Amman Baccalaureate School, setting up drama departments at primary and secondary level. I was Programme leader for Applied Drama at the University of Wales Newport and a Senior lecturer in English and Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) at the University of South Wales. I have worked as a script reader for BBC Radio 4 and scriptwriter and lyricist for BBC educational. I am co founder of the Screwpacket Playwrights, Newport dedicated to producing/directing new plays of a social conscience, producing a series of plays celebrating Newport Transporter bridge in 2008 at the Riverfront Theatre, Newport, and directing/developing several new plays by young playwrights in subsequent years at the studio theatre, Riverfront Theatre, Newport. I was co writer and co lyricist of the Forgotten, a new musical staged at the Riverfront Theatre for Newport Festival 2010 and librettist and lyricist for Bronte, a musical on the life and work of Charlotte Bronte, staged at the Hen and Chicken fringe theatre, Bedminster, Bristol and the King's Head, Islington London as well as performed for British week Amman Jordan. In recent years as artistic director of TFA we have produced two music festivals in Tintern Abbey.

ACW funded research and development theatre project working with adults with learning difficulties at Melville Theatre, Abergavenny.
A book on theatre and human consciousness
Developing a new form of lyrical theatre arising out of PhD thesis.
