What I do:
I work as an actress mainly for theatre and I translate theatre plays from English into German and vice versa.
A little more about me:
I was born and raised in Berlin, studied Acting at Drama School in Hamburg, fell in love with a jazz musician at the Edinburgh Fringe, married him, moved to the UK and now work as an actor over here.
Location:
West Yorkshire, Manchester
Projects I’m working on:
Over the summer I will be touring as Helena in The Little English Theatre Company's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. http://www.thelittleenglishtheatre.co.uk/
We will mostly be performing outdoor in beautiful gardens, historic houses, courtyards and castles in the Midlands until, at the end of July, we will be touring South West France.

In September I will come back to Cardiff and work with Theatr Iolo again. We will start touring the GRIMM TALES, adapted by Carol Ann Duffy, in October and visit venues in Wales and England.. Check out their website: http://www.theatriolo.com/

Hi the Autumn one! :) London is treating me quite well at the moment, yes, I've opened a Sunday drama school for Lithuanian children! Quite a challenge but soooooo much fun! :) Hope you're well! Let's meet up for a coffee if you down in London some time! And say jello to Brian!

Hi Wiebke,

how are you doing?  Settling back in to life in Yorkshire?  Thanks for the message, Andrew and I really enjoyed the show and it was great to get to chat to you all after.  I will certainly let you know if anything comes up with projects we were talking about.  Good luck with it all and do keep in touch.

Best wishes

Andrea

Hi Wiebke,

Welcome to the Community! It's great to see you.

Have a look around and get stuck in. There are lots of ways to get the most out of the Community but a good place to start is by joining a Group of people with similar interests. I would recommend checking out the Actors Group (looked after by our Company Assistant Michael Salmon) and the Writers Group (looked after by John McGrath, our Artistic Director).

You can also Write a Blog Post to update members of the Community on a project you're working on, or start a debate or discussion; or see what's on in the arts in Wales today, and add your own events, in the What's On section.

As always it's best to just dive in but give me a shout if you have any questions!

Jen
