Profile Information

What I do:
Actor/Writer/director - Trained at Royal Welsh College.Worked at RSC and National Theatre. Many roles in TV, film and theatre. Played Welshman Gerry Evans in Abbey Theatre production of Dancing at lughnasa.
A little more about me:
I have directed at the Maltings Theatre, Farnham, the Rose Theatre, Kingston, and at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff. Also assistant director to Terry Hands at Clwyd.
Location:
South Wales.
Projects I’m working on:
Recently played Jacob Marley in A Christmas Carol at the RSC and Professor Marcus in UK tour of The Ladykillers. Played Oscar Wilde in Mappa Mudi tour and Finbar in Rachel O'Reardon's production of The Weir at The Sherman Theatre. Went to Australia to perform at the Sydney Opera House in Dylan Thomas' Adventures in the Skin Trade with Theatr Iolo. Check out CV below for more stage and Screen credits.

Mother Courage First Night.

John McGrath and the National Theatre of Wales started five years ago at Blackwood Miners Institute with 'A Good Night Out in the Valleys.' Last night at the Merthyr Labour Club they gave me and the rest of the first night audience a GREAT NIGHT OUT IN THE VALLEYS! 

The evening started with karaoke tunes, a theme which carried on throughout the night - both in the play and in the Labour Club bar!
