If you want to know the state of being of a town or village you have got to visit the local choir. There you can see all the small things needed to enjoy and to communicate. So indeed this choir can use some young blood. I am invited to join. The mrs. is taking care of strict organisation for the concerts to come. Make a small joke about email or female. Cough.
Cough. Go to the toilet when everyone is singing. They know as we all know that older men got to go when they got to go. The room is bright and the voices are beautiful. I wish I was brought up having fun like this. Where no man has to be ashamed of a high pitched voice because it comes in very handy when you got to sing 'unchained melody'. The director talks a bit like Tommy Cooper which makes everything even nicer.

How wonderful to be in contact. One never really is shure using a blog. Is anybody reading. Would I read this. It is like be in Rhayader and answering everyday if I already have a good idea what to do here in the future.

I think I am spinning wool in many moods. Spinning information into long threads which will make just one ball of wool. It will contain many things. And I could make a dress out of it or throw it towards the cat.

But I am also in the river. Sometimes standing still to experience the water coming along. Sometimes being carried over stones and pebbles. Sometimes trying to crawl up stream.

And sometimes you end up at the seaside. And you have to start all over.

During research for a new play it is important to see what kind a local knowledgde there is to find and use. What ideas and specialities there are. Because you might use text or images about them. Maybe working with actors but then you have to have a dress designer as well. I think it might be worthwhile to study the material wool. Because this might be something that people in Rhayader can relate to. What do you recon?…

It must be the water or something. But I totally relax amongst those friendly people of Rhayader. Even after a couple of beers dressed up like fools the go for the conversation. Who are you? What are you doing here? How long are you going to stay? AAAAAAh your an artist? What are your plans? You need a place to stay? OK, come over. We'll have a tea. You might help out with the apples. Scrumping? OK? OK!…

Trying to get a grasp of Rhayader? I am in it. People are friendly. They drink and party. And tell lots of good stories. We walked down the river for a while, Alan (my host for the moment) and I. We went to the Lion Royal Hotel and had a good conversation with the owner, Mary Rowland (If I remember it correctly). She invited me to come and stay later on in the month. So I can attend and serve at a party in the Hotel! And sometimes when it rains I take the car out for a spin. It spins good on…

So I can attend and serve at a party in the Hotel! And sometimes when it rains I take the car out for a spin. It spins good on the left with the gearbox in my right hand because I am lefthanded. After returning to the village it is about time to prepare for Halloween. First take care of my graving for food and then run the beertrail.

This morning I am moving to a new adress. My new home is in Churchstreet. It is good to change. Alan is my new 'guide' of Rhayader. We walk along the river Wye and he tells me lot's of beautiful stories. They are very inspiring and point out to me that I really have to go and see Mike Pearson. While talking to Alan and walking we can just see the beautiful option of making a chorography around the river.
