WMC team win CCSKIlls Theatre Award

Jo Davies and Martin Hunt from the WMC have won the the Creative and Cultural Skills Award for their work with Cardiff and Vale College setting up the WMC technical apprenticeship scheme and developing the Shared Apprenticeship scheme whereby venues with apprentices across Wales will be supported by the WMC and Cardiff and Vale College, hence pooling resources and sharing costs, knowledge and experience across the industry.…

Welsh language actors wanted/ Reservoir Safety Campaign

Welsh speaking actors with South Walian/ Valleys accents needed for a reservoir safety campaign. 
 
We're looking for 2 men aged early 20s, 1 man aged 20 - 40s, 1 woman aged early 20s,  and 1 woman aged 40s - 50s.
Filming will take place in Brecon and Peterborough - transport will be provided. The actors will also be required to lend their voices to a radio advert.
 
We can offer £150 - £200 per day - estimated 1-2 days…

Prison Arts Network Cymru

For anyone interested in learning more about theatre and the arts in criminal justice there's a meeting this Thursday 31st March at 3 pm at the British Council Offices in Cardiff of the newly formed Prison Arts Network Cymru. 

The aim of this gathering is to form a supportive network for artists working across Wales in prison and probation settings and to do what we can to support those who want to carry on a creative practice beyond prison.

Hello all, I am in the midst of finishing off my play 'Switzerland' in the coming month and require one male actor to workshop the role.

Physical Performer Auditions - Dripping Tap

Invisible Ink theatre company are looking for a producer!

Invisible Ink are a new writing company made up of director Sita Calvert-Ennals and writer Alan Harris. We are looking for a producer for our new show, The Terrible Things I’ve Done. This is our second show following on from our sell out co-production with Theatr Iolo of The Magic Toyshop in 2014.  

The show will premiere in Cardiff for a week in October 2016 and hopefully go on to tour Welsh venues in 2017.
