Devoted and Disgruntled comes to Wales for the first time...!

Do you love theatre?

Do you find it frustrating?

Do you feel audiences don't get a voice?

Do you consider that theatre in Wales has an identity of its own?

Do you feel that there is far too much talking and not enough doing?

Is the time ripe for us in Wales to host a discussion about the future of theatre in our country?

We are thrilled to be joining forces with Improbable and two great friends in Wales - Pontio and Sherman Cymru - to host…

fundraising for Mary Bijou Cabaret & Social Club

As some of you might know, I also perform in cabaret as one half of Peek & Boo, in parallel to my work as a Serious Actor. I have been involved over the last few years with the Mary Bijou Cabaret & Social Club, the brain child of George Orange and a number of our circus performer friends here in Cardiff. I perform a musical act with my cabaret partner Becky Dell, a classically-trained pianist. We…

New musical- what are good ways of getting funding?

A few friends of mine have written a brand new musical, and I'd like to direct it in a small venue for a few nights to get some feedback on how we could move it forward. In order to do this we need some funding or a grant to hire a space and rehearse. Could anyone please give me some ideas on where we could get some funding to do this?

Thanks guys!

This is real-life and the emotions our performers are going through are raw and painful. Today one of our performers re-enacted the moment he pleaded with a psychiatrist to…

FRAGMENTS OF ASH @ CHAPTER

Thought-provoking, political and moving.

Fragments of Ash is a piece that is certainly not for the light hearted. A tale of a mother, surrounded by a loss that hundreds of women, men and families alike suffer everyday.

At a time when we as a country are losing soldiers every single day, the Notional Theatre have tackled a play that can be described as 100% anti war, and they deliver it with grace, respect and great, great pain.

Whilst aspects of the physical theatre… Continue
