Scala Prestatyn & The Film Programme!

Am absolutely delighted to say Radio 4's Film Programme will be visiting The Scala Cinema & Arts Centre in Prestatyn next week. They'll be spending time with members of the local community who campaigned for 9 years to make this extraordinary venue possible and will speak to the young film-makers from Ffilm Scala - a film unit run by and for the community.

Dreams & Realities

the dream - to create a film-making unit based in the community which will encompass Stori Scala & Scala Drama...

the reality - at 11am on 10/11/10 the first Ffilm Scala film-making group was launched in the art room at Prestatyn High School (the one with the nice roof light). Scala Drama update - October highlight No. 1 - Bryn Terfel sends his best wishes to the Scala audience, live from New York.
