Every week Ffilm Scala goes from strength-to-strength - there's a regular group of young people coming into the Creative Surgeries with amazing enthusiasm and ideas - they can whip out a storyboard or two in the first hour and have usually rehearsed a rough outline and assigned roles in the second. Ffilm Scala TEAM Prestatyn update

Had a fantastic Ffilm Scala tonight - After completing her short film for NTW's Weather Competition, Meg has promptly started a full-blown production on only her second film project. Scala Prestatyn & The Film Programme!

Am absolutely delighted to say Radio 4's Film Programme will be visiting The Scala Cinema & Arts Centre in Prestatyn next week. They'll be spending time with members of the local community who campaigned for 9 years to make this extraordinary venue possible and will speak to the young film-makers from Ffilm Scala - a film unit run by and for the community.

Scala Drama update - October highlight No. 1 - Bryn Terfel sends his best wishes to the Scala audience, live from New York.
