It must be the water or something. But I totally relax amongst those friendly people of Rhayader. Even after a couple of beers dressed up like fools the go for the conversation. Who are you? What are you doing here? How long are you going to stay? AAAAAAh your an artist? What are your plans? You need a place to stay? OK, come over. We'll have a tea. You might help out with the apples. Scrumping? OK? OK!…

Trying to get a grasp of Rhayader? I am in it. People are friendly. They drink and party. And tell lots of good stories. We walked down the river for a while, Alan (my host for the moment) and I. We went to the Lion Royal Hotel and had a good conversation with the owner, Mary Rowland (If I remember it correctly). She invited me to come and stay later on in the month. So I can attend and serve at a party in the Hotel! And sometimes when it rains I take the car out for a spin. It spins good on…

This morning I am moving to a new adress. My new home is in Churchstreet. It is good to change. Alan is my new 'guide' of Rhayader. We walk along the river Wye and he tells me lot's of beautiful stories. They are very inspiring and point out to me that I really have to go and see Mike Pearson. While talking to Alan and walking we can just see the beautiful option of making a chorography around the river. It all comes down to a sentence engraved in the former pool next to the river; 'children…

This morning I woke up so relaxed!!! O my ..... this is becoming a holiday. Or? It has been sad to me that the air here is good for ya. And that the quality of the sleep is improved by it. Well, good for me!
I met up with Jade in her beauty parlor, with Alan in the office of The Arches, with some sheep in the hills and ended up eating indian food in front of the tellie (sic?). And I think I saw a Gorilla!!…

Of course it would be better to introduce what I am doing in Rhayader. And who I am and what it means that the NTW invites the Dutch 'PeerGrouP' over to research possible ideas for a play. But I am out the house continuesly talking to people. I think we are lucky that I am allowed on the internet quite often.
My second day at the Cox's is another good one. Maybe you good check my facebook as well. More pictures there. In the meantime I wander around the village and try to climb a hill…

Arriving in Rhayader is something. Driving on the left is another thing. But I managed. I was invited by the family Cox to stay at their house as long as I want. I did think about it because they are extremely friendly and I think I fit in quit nicely. Very good converations about theatre and life.
The first evening we, Cath Cox and I, went to a clairvoyants night in the village. Have fun reading!…
