Over the past couple of months I have been meeting people from the community of Monkton. With my average tea consumption increasing by double I have gathered a great collection of stories. The amount of tales that community have come forward to tell has been fantastic and in the process I have met some amazing people and learnt a great deal about Monkton. Next month with will be West Wales' first TEAM Workshop and Skills Swap. It will be run by the lovely Emma-Kayleigh McNab and Peter Scott at Small World Theatre in Cardigan on Saturday 4th March.

We had a lovely turn out for the creative writing workshop in Monkton Swifts last Saturday. Hosted by Kelly Jones and Tom Wentworth the workshop focused themes relating to Monkton. There were various tasks which included creating monologues and verbatim exercises. Participants were asked to bring photo's and memorabilia linked to the area which were used in discussion.
