Its a strange thing, but for me visiting the UK is coming home. Though I was born in Canada my time there was brief and by around a year old I was on a ship to England where I lived for 28 years. And then, I ''returned '' to Canada. So my journey has echoes of the British Home child story-distorted- but perhaps with the same results............. I have two ''homes'', and a connection with journey and water that has stayed with me forever.

Looking forward to being in Wales in March for Waleslab project ''The Ballad of Ivor Jones''- an enquiry into the poignancy of childhood , leaving home, and memory. Nerea Martinez de Lecea and I will be facilitating the making and creating of modern day Fables with children in Treorchy. Just about a month to go until I get to Wales and start Waleslab with Nerea Martinez de Lecea! Very excited about our ''Ballad of Ivor Jones'' project and working with Home schooled children on some great workshops we have planned.
