I’m obviously far too old to have contributed a screenplay to a youth-oriented short film scheme like the BBC Made In Wales series. But Roger Burnell’s It’s My Shout organisation put out an open call for scripts and mine, “Say It”, was selected. Or, more accurately, plucked from the sub’s bench after another project was deemed, for whatever reason, to be unsuitable.
Cut to a few months later, and I’m in the St David’s Hotel in Cardiff…

American writer Dave Bonta runs the Moving Poems website, which is worth investigating, for those who are interested in investigating the art of the poetry film.
