NEW 8 Week Improv Comedy Course (Cardiff)

Time passes and calls for more improv comedy.

There is limited amount of this marvellous art form in Wales in general. Offering more improv comedy is a great idea, I think.

For all walks of life, improv will offer a development in confidence, communication and spontaneity. A common phrase is all actors need to be improvisers, but not all improvisers need to be actors. The task to act in some styles of improvisation would be odd... think of some well known names…

Happy New Year people!

On Sunday 22nd January 2012, wow, 2012... Ludus Ludius are holding a beginners improv comedy workshop.

The day will be suitable for actors and those in search of the improvised wonders. Even further it's for those that have seen any material from UBC in New York. The nerdiness that has been recently a regular occurrence means that this event shall be special one-off exploration of sketch-based improv. Discovering the tremendous joys…

Xmas Improv Comedy Jam

Its coming up to Christmas and we are all getting busier,

So lets make it more by making Cardiff more prettier.

This improv comedy jam can happen when you like,

We'll suit the majority and it'll be as fun as riding a bike.

If you don't like bikes and rather silliness and spontaneity,

Our jam will just be tasty and impulsively like a deity.

When would you come to this show and event?

What date suits you? As you're the important cement.

Is the city…

Ludus Ludius Improv - what's happening now?

With some big projects on the go at the moment, we take the time to enjoy the beauty of sharing.

Improvisation is a shared experience. With an audience its a wider sharing too. Tales of great depth and lovely humour can be in conjunction with the trauma of being spontaneous. Spectators revel and improvisers play. All from a suggestion that may have been grabbed from the onlookers.

Instead of grabbing some form of suggestion from NTW for this blog though, I…

Edinburgh Preview: Need a reviewer

Hello one and all,

Ludus Ludius Improv Theatre co are doing a preview of their production in ATRium, Adams Street on Wednesday 8th June, 7pm and wish to find someone to come and watch it and perhaps review it. The more the merrier, as one may like it and another may not. Who knows, its all improvised anyway.

The production is about perception. We call it, 'Emblem: Spontaneous Thoughts on Perception' as we utilise this emblem and explore it over the production…
