I really enjoyed working as the Promoter for Mother Courage and Her Children. So I'm very happy to be working as an NTW Promoter again, this time for {150}. Today was Meet & Greet Day, where we all gathered together to, well, meet and greet each other. Ok, so there was a little more to it than that.

After the initial meeting and greeting, Director and Creator Marc Rees talked us through the project, telling us about his creative process, the history of the project and some details about the show's narrative and structure. I won't reveal too much but after listening to Marc's description I'm imaging the show as a sort of huge art gallery in which everything is alive and acting out their themes and stories in front of us. I'm really looking forward to seeing how accurate my impression turns out to be.

So now I start my work promoting the show locally. A lot of this will be in Aberdare, but I'll also be working in Merthyr, Pontypridd and the surrounding areas. I'll be emailing, flyering, doing lots of talking and smiling and generally telling as many people as I can about the show. As with Mother Courage, this will be made so much easier because it's something that I'm genuinely excited about.

So as before, if you see me around, say hello!
