Casting - Aberystwyth Mon Amour
Lighthouse Theatre seeks actors to participate in workshop performances of excerpts of Malcolm Pryce's Welsh Noir classic 'Aberystwyth Mon Amour'. The engagement is for 2.5 weeks of Research and Development, culminating in a performance of extracts at the Swansea Grand, Overall dates: July 16th - August 1st 2014 based in Swansea .
Louie Knight - M 30 - 45. Louie has matinee idol good looks, gone to seed in Aberystwyth. Mid Atlantic American accent in the style of Raymond Chandler. A tough Private Eye with a soft centre.
Calamity Jane - F 18 - 25. Louie's side-kick and aspiring detective. Tomboy trying to be a tough guy but still just an innocent kid underneath. Calamity sees in Louie the father she has been missing as together they join forces against the criminal Druid underworld.
South Wales base and experience in script development preferred.
