Hello!

My name is Luke Bevan and I am currently working with Mercury Theatre Wales on their latest production 'Anamnesis 25.12'. I have joined the company on a placement position that  I found through a post on the National Theatre Wales community. The show itself is looking to be extremely exciting with an amazing script that has been developed over the last year and also a very talented cast that are doing a great job of bringing it to life. The show focuses on Christmas, but rather than your normal consumerist perspective it takes a look at how Christmas is perhaps not a joyous time for everybody. There are some lovely stories within the piece that have made me laugh and cry this week; it's been a roller coaster! I find the concept of this show to be very special as I have never heard about a "Christmas" show that has something meaningful to tell and is a piece of creative art within itself before. I think Wales is in for a very exciting Christmas with this show as it captures the heart of what it means to us as an audience today.
