A few years ago, many of my arts marketing friends used to complain that we never saw each other outside of meetings and that we should go out and have some fun more often. I took it upon myself as the then South Wales Arts Marketing Rep for the AMA (Arts Marketing Association) to organise this as a festive bash three years ago and we named it the Arty Farty Party.

The Arty Farty Party is now an annual festive knees up for anyone and everyone associated with the arts and cultural industry, as well as friends, family and foe of those who do. It's a great way to meet other people who have the same interests as you and some beautiful friendships and contacts have been made; so I invite all of you to come along, tomorrow evening from 7pm and Porter's in Cardiff for a festive knees up. This is a natural fit due to the arty farty experience and background of Dan and Dave who run this gem of a Cardiff drinking den. 

There will be Christmas tunes, yule-tide nibbles, live bands, Christmas films in the cinema room, mulled wine and lots of lovely folk.
