Pukka Productions (a community theatre school based in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan) are putting on Sweeney Todd this summer (July 2016). We are fully cast, apart from the role of Anthony.

Must be the strong, handsome type who can pass for mid 20's age-wise. Needs to be Bari/tenor up to F# and a confident soloist.

Our current cast and staff include RWCMD graduates (Kelly Virgil and David George Harrington), local professionals (Michael Bennett), past members of PODS (Penarth Operatic and Dramatic Society) and individuals who have trained with years of experience.

Show week is July 25th-31st 2016 at Paget Rooms, Penarth.

We rehearse every Thursday evening (6pm onwards). Closer to the show they're may be weekend rehearsals.
Director: Sarah Creasey
MD: David George Harrington (RWCMD)
Choreographer: Sarah Hudson.

Rehearsals will be every Thursday at Crossways Church, Barry. Closer to the show, additional rehearsals will be included on weekends (Sunday afternoons).

If you wish to audition, we currently meet Thursday evenings (7-9) and Saturday mornings (10-12.30). However we may be able to organise auditions on other days. Contact myself on sarahhudson91@outlook.com or comment below. We are hoping to cast asap, so best to find an audition date as soon as possible.

You will need to sing a solo of your choice and provide sheet music but your song DOES NOT have to be from Sweeney Todd. The audition will last between 10-20 minutes.

Fees: The only fee that we ask is that for every week you rehearse, you contribute £5 (this covers the hall and all the tea/biscuits you could possibly wish to eat and drink). Costumes will be provided for and there will be no other hidden costs. For marketing purposes, we also ask that you a purchase a show t-shirt (should cost between £5-£7 maximum).

It's going to be an incredible show with an even more incredible cast, could you be part of it?
