August 012 Theatre is now recruiting an Assistant Director for ROBERTO ZUCCO

We are looking for an Assistant Director for our next production Roberto Zucco by Bernard-Marie Koltès, translated by Martin Crimp and directed by Mathilde Lopez, opening on 9th-19th July 2014 at Chapter Arts Centre.

Sitting somewhere between detective thriller, philosophical tale, poetry anthology and American gangster movie, Koltès’ scandalous play investigates the life of Roberto Succo, the infamous 1980s Italian serial killer and by doing so, seriously unsettles our moral compass.

We are looking for an enthusiastic assistant to assist Mathilde through the rehearsal process, organising daily voice and body warm up and staying with the production during the run. This will be a great opportunity to get experience of our rehearsal room and production process.

Rehearsals will be held in Cardiff Bay and at Chapter Arts Centre from 9th June -5th July 2014.

This is an unpaid position but thanks to the support of National Theatre Wales TEAM, your expenses (up to £10/day) will be covered.
