Be part of the Cultural Contract with North Wales Creative Network! Conversation happening 2nd June at 12:30pm via ZOOM

North Wales Creative Network have been picked as part of the Cultural Conversation with Wales Cultural Alliance to discuss the development of an inclusive contract for culture across Wales as we emerge from COVID-19.

The Cultural Contract is designed to achieve real and lasting change and break down old power structures that marginalise and exclude people and communities. The 2-hour discussion will cover diverse topics for the re-imagining of the arts in Wales and require every arts organisation who received emergency funding to explain how they will strengthen their approach to:

  • Fair Work
  • Diversity
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Co-Creation
  • Inclusive Leadership
  • Environmental Justice
  • Social Justice

North Wales Creative Network is the only organisation focused solely on the barriers and requirements for inclusion specifically in North Wales. Founded over lockdown by community artists Anastacia Ackers and Natasha Borton, North Wales Creatives Network is a multidisciplinary forum for creative artists living, working or originating from North Wales. The aim of the network is to connect artists across the region, platform creative voices at a national level, provide liaison support to international programmes and venues and upskill creatives to support sustainable practice in our communities.

Whether you are a creative, someone who works full time in the arts, or someone who enjoys partaking in and watching arts activities, we would love for you to join us on Wednesday 2nd June from 12:30pm. You can register at: https://bit.ly/3uCP1yO.
