Theatr Iolo are looking for non-executive board members to join the Board of Trustees.  

 

As one of the UK's most respected children’s theatre companies Theatr Iolo has been making original theatre for thirty years and has performed in schools, nurseries, village halls, community centres, theatres, forests, streets and playgrounds throughout the UK and further afield in Europe, Australia, Russia and South Korea. 

 

Theatr Iolo are currently at a time of change. This Autumn sees a new leadership team take the reins; Artistic Director, Lee Lyford joins the company after working with Theatre Royal Bath and Unicorn Theatre London, and Michelle Perez, who joins from Newport’s Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre as General Manager. The company is looking ahead to a very bright future. 

 

We are looking for people who are passionate about young people and their future as well as about theatre, the arts and creativity.  We are particularly interested in applications from people with skills and expertise in HR, Marketing, Communications, Education or Artistic producing and Planning and we especially welcome applications from Welsh speakers.  

 

As an organisation, Theatr Iolo constantly strives to ensure that its staffing profile reflects the population it serves. To assist in these efforts, we would welcome applications for Trustees, irrespective of age, gender, ethnic background, sexual orientation, religion or belief and disability.

Fel un o’r cwmnïau theatr plant uchaf ei barch yn y DU, mae Theatr Iolo wedi bod yn creu gwaith theatr gwreiddiol am ddeng mlynedd ar hugain ac wedi perfformio mewn ysgolion, meithrinfeydd, neuaddau pentref, canolfannau cymunedol, theatrau, coedwigoedd, strydoedd a meysydd chwarae ledled y DU ac ymhellach draw yn Ewrop, Awstralia, Rwsia a De Corea.

 

Mae hi’n adeg o newid i Theatr Iolo ar hyn o bryd. Yr hydref hwn bydd tîm arwain newydd yn cymryd yr awenau. Bydd y Cyfarwyddwr Artistig, Lee Lyford, yn ymuno â'r cwmni ar ôl gweithio gyda Theatre Royal Bath a Unicorn Theatre yn Llundain, a bydd Michelle Perez, yn ymuno â ni o Theatr Glan yr Afon Casnewydd fel Rheolwr Cyffredinol. Mae'r cwmni'n edrych ymlaen at ddyfodol disglair iawn.

 

Rydym yn chwilio am bobl sy'n angerddol dros bobl ifanc a'u dyfodol yn ogystal â’r theatr, y celfyddydau a chreadigrwydd. Mae gennym ddiddordeb arbennig mewn ceisiadau gan bobl sydd â sgiliau ac arbenigedd mewn Adnoddau Dynol, Marchnata, Cyfathrebu, Addysg neu Gynhyrchu a Chynllunio Artistig a byddem yn croesawu yn arbennig geisiadau gan siaradwyr Cymraeg.

 

Mae Theatr Iolo yn ymdrechu'n barhaus i sicrhau bod ei phroffil staffio yn adlewyrchu'r boblogaeth a wasanaethir ganddi. I’n cynorthwyo gyda'r ymdrechion hyn, byddem yn croesawu ceisiadau gan ymgeiswyr, o bob oedran, rhyw, cefndir ethnig, tueddfryd rhywiol, crefydd, cred neu anabledd.
