Inside Out Cymru is looking to add artists to its database of professional art facilitators. Artists interested in leading participatory, wellbeing workshops across Gwent (including hospital-based workshops in mental health wards), are invited to register so they can be contacted directly if any opportunities to work with Inside Out Cymru become available.

Inside Out Cymru is an arts and mental health charity. It exists to encourage access to the arts and creative expression, promoting mental well-being through arts workshops, events, partnership working and other activities held within local communities.

Inside Out Cymru aims to create integrated settings in local communities for all people and to be inclusive in everything it does. We encourage applicants to register on our database and broaden the diversity of our pool of freelance artists, to include artists from different cultural backgrounds, disabled artists, especially those with experience of supporting people with their mental health.

 What we need from you:

• At least 12 months professional experience in the participatory arts and health sector.
• Adapt to different environments when workshop opportunities arise. (Maximum workshop capacity is 12)
• Be willing to take part in the monitoring and evaluation process.
• Live or be able to travel throughout Gwent
• Gather materials if needed
• A maximum of 6 images of your work or link to your social media page / website, exhibiting your work.
• Be competent on zoom, face to face, or a mixture of both. Zoom and blended learning has given the participants an opportunity to continue with their artwork from home.
• Manage your own budget to include: workshop prep time, material and travel cost within the hourly rate of pay, which currently stands @£30
• Public liability insurance, an up-to-date DBS and reference. These will only be needed if work is offered after registration.
