Cardiff University Medical School Seeking Diverse Role Play Actors - Paid Opportunity

A note from our friends at Cardiff University Medical School…

Cardiff University, School of Medicine is seeking actors of all ages to deliver training in communication skills for our undergraduate medical students. We have always aimed to make cases for our students diverse but have struggled to recruit actors that represent the diversity of our local population. Actors work with our students in role play settings, portraying a wide range of clinical scenarios. In particular we would like to hear form actors who consider themselves to be transgender, those from black or minority ethnic backgrounds and those who are bi/multilingual (although we already have a number of Welsh speaking actors so currently are not seeking to recruit more). The actors would undertake role play with small groups (5-8) of medical students and may also be recruited to take part in medical student assessments. The work is paid and training is given on providing feedback.
