Winterlight are looking for an experienced young actor 18 – 25 with good physical skills to play the leading role of “Carl” in the upcoming production of Touch Blue Touch Yellow by Tim Rhys

To be presented in the theatre at Chapter Arts Centre from 1st  till 5th December 8.00 (matinees Wednesday and Saturday)

Rehearsals from 9th November. Company wage.

Carl understands stars, galaxies and other planets but the mysteries of the non-autistic world all around him are far more bewildering and dangerous. This new play explores some of the misleading myths about autism. It follows one young man’s journey, searching for friendship and meaning on what could turn out to be his last night on Earth.

This specially commissioned play by Tim Rhys is based on first hand testimony of young people on the autism spectrum and parents and carers. It follows Winterlight’s 2013 production of Matthews Passion by Mike James premiered at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff.

Auditions Friday 16th October Chapter Arts Centre
