Spilt Milk- 'Different Brain' Auditions

We are proud to announce our first project as Spilt Milk 'A Different Brain' as part of the 'Cardiff Fringe Theatre Festival's' event 'Fringe Cafe' on the 3rd of May. The piece is a musical based around Autism following the story of Rachel, a young woman living with Autism.The showing will be a work in progress but we are looking into producing a full production of the piece next year.

Role:

Rachel-We are looking for an actress with a playing age of 20-25 to play the lead role of Rachel. Rachel is a young woman living with Autism and the piece is based around her.

Required Skills:

  • We are looking for an Actress with a strong singing voice.
  • Experience with improvisation.
  • Ability to play any instrument (Preferable but not essential).

Performers must be available for rehearsals on the 25th,27th and 29th of April and the 2nd of May, as well as the day of the performance on the 3rd of May.

Audition Requirements:

For the audition you would need to prepare:

  • A short monologue no more than 2 Minutes in length.
  • One of your favourite songs (It doesn't have to be from a musical, just something you enjoy singing)

Unfortunately, the role is unpaid as we are giving all proceeds from Spilt Milk's earnings to the 'National Autism Society' as part of the event.
