4 ACTORS for proof of concept teaser trailer to raise production finance for a dark comedy feature. 

2/3 day shoot in Pembrokeshire between 18-22 March (paid).

2 MEN 35-45 (written age 40). We are interested in comedy double acts with antagonistic love/hate chemistry as the characters are long-term chalk & cheese friends who gaslight each other but are always there in a crisis. 

ROLE 1 - tall/ish narcissist - a neurotic, devious, machiavellian, silver tongued charmer (written as Welsh).

ROLE 2 - short/er, hangdog, swarthy, uptight straight-man with anger management issues - (written as half Italian/Scottish, born in Wales).

ROLE 3 - WOMAN - 25-30 - Working class Welsh - a rambunctious, streetwise, force of nature, whose ruthless pursuit of destiny masks a deep well of compassion and low self-esteem. Reckless, intimidating, fascinating.

ROLE 4 - WOMAN - 25-35 - Eastern European (or someone who can do a convincing accent/has the look) - tall, calm, aloof, disdainful, inscrutable, long dark hair - an interest in photography advantageous but not essential.

This RIP-REEL gives a sense of our intentions but focuses more on character and emotional territory than style/tone - password = MGRIP.

We hope to assemble a tight knit crew who will all sing off the same hymn sheet to make a bold, distinctive film.
