Pirate Jenny Cabaret are producing the pro rights to Jerry Hermans - Showtune. It is being staged at The Gwyn Hall, Neath, which is a beautiful space for this revue.
This is an 7 hander show and very dependent on the cast putting over the 'flavour' of each Jerry Herman song/show within the piece. La Cage aux Folles, Mack & Mabel, Hello Dolly, Mame and many more...
URGENT! Director/Choreographer
We are currently accepting submissions for a Director/Choreographer. This piece will have choreography in sections, but is mainly stylised. This is all about those great memorable Jerry Herman tunes that everyone loves. So a director that understands the vocal as well as the dance styles is desirable.
This position is on a low pay basis and this is a non equity production, but with options for the right Director/Choreographer as we hope to take this production further afield. We want someone who understands the genre and style of each show and who can deliver high production values.
