We are seeking two actors for the roles of ENFYS and FOX to be involved in a rehearsed reading of Chris Harris' play, DOVEY JUNCTION, directed by Luke Hereford. The play takes place at Dovey Junction, a train station, in the middle of nowehere, in West Wales. Enfys and Fox find themselves waiting for a train, but are unsure when it's arriving, or where it might be going. Casting breakdown as follows:

ENFYS; Twenties. She's pretty eccentric, however you interpret that. Full of life, and probably speaks with a Welsh accent.

FOX; Twenties. He's fairly normal. Not particularly used to hanging out with the type of person that Enfys is. Also, probably Welsh.

The reading will be taking place on Wednesday 31st August and Thursday 1st September, so your full availability for both of these dates is essential. The first date will be an opportunity for the team to meet, get to grips with the text, and develop it a little, while the second date will be a chance to get it up on it's feet before presenting the piece in front of a relaxed audience in Sherman Theatre foyer.

This will be an unpaid opportunity, due to the very early stages of development for the company, but is an exciting opportunity to network with a new theatre company made up of emerging artists and has the scope to be developed further in the very near future.

If you're interested in being considered for either role, please send through a Spotlight Link/CV and short Covering Letter, explaining why you're interested in working with No Boundaries; we understand at this stage the brief is vague, due to early development of the play, but it literally need be no more than a paragraph, we just want to know what makes you tick as an artists. If we're interested in seeing what you've got, we will send you through a piece of text from the play, and ask for a self-tape of your interpretation of the speech. Final decisions will be made over one to one meetings with myself on either 17th, 18th or 19th August.
