Valleys Kids are hosting Contact Theatre’s acclaimed one man show of ‘CountryBoy’s Struggle’ at Soar Centre, Penygraig CF40 1JZ on Friday 10^th May at 7pm. 

The show follows an MC’s journey from the cliffs of Cornwall to the streets of London. Playing over 30 characters and mixing Hip Hop, movement and comedy. 

         “Hip hop is more than your shoes, clothes or hat -

          It’s a community,

          And that community I lacked.

          It’s Country Boy’s hip hop struggle.”

Contact Theatre’s one-man show perfectly captures how it feels to grow up with a sense of isolation – a ‘fish out of water’ story, which is full of humanity, pathos and warm wit.
