Tuesday 31st January Barnabas Arts house is having an open meeting for anyone who wishes to do something creative in Newport and doesn't have a space or the atmosphere in which to do it.

I recently discovered this building in Newport and it's fantastic!

A renovated church Barnabas Arts House boasts; A Cafe, a Gallery, Artist Studios, and underneath it all is located an awesome miniature theatre! Complete with stage. This space doubles up as a bespoke cinema, perfect for film makers to showcase their work.

It's a fantastic building and from what I can tell, is very community orientated. So don't hesitate! If you have an idea or just want to make a few connections in Newports currently thriving artistic community, then I'd suggest popping along.

I'll be there. < Yeah, that should seal the deal.

just seen this post (obviously too late), this sounds like a great space in newport. Did anything come of the meeting? would love it get involved if anything similar takes place in the future.
