Creative Memory workshops in Newport, Caernarfon, and Bangor

Bread & Goose are running creative reminiscence workshops in Newport, Caernarfon, and Bangor as part of our Memory Store installation.

The Memory Store is a mobile library of memories, collected and bottled from across the UK, waiting for visitors to explore them and perhaps add their own. A memory might be triggered by a smell, a sound, a picture, an object, or a piece of text - all of these will find homes in the Memory Store.

We're running a series of workshops to discover your memories, and to help you distill the essence of a special moment or a powerful recollection into an item for our Store. Times and places can be found below, but if you can't make it along, please drop us a line at info@breadandgoose.co.uk - we'd love to hear from you. The workshops are generously supported by Gwanwyn Festival, celebrating creativity in older age, and by the Wellcome Trust, who are also supporting the tour.

The Memory Store will tour the UK in autumn 2014, accompanying our production of Lost in the Neuron Forest, a story about memory and how it defines us, and who we can be when our memories are gone. Info about the show, and the Memory Store project, can be found on our website www.breadandgoose.co.uk
