Critics Day: Discussion panel names are being confirmed!

National Theatre Wales and Literature Wales' New Critics Day:

 Saturday 1st October

Happening in the stunning, brand-new RWCMD Dora Stotzker concert hall

 

Arrival at 1.30pm for a 2.00pm start. 

 

Come and discuss theatre and cultural criticism with some top names! 

 

Our confirmed speakers so far include:

 

Lyn Gardner (The Guardian critic and Twitter extraordinaire)

Elisabeth Mahoney (Freelance Theatre journalist also reviews radio and theatre for The Guardian)

Matt Wolf (Freelance writer for publications including New York Times' International Herald Tribune, Variety and various UK publications and online blogs, such as Theater News Online)

Aleks Sierz (Freelance writer, reviewer, blogger and journalist, author of books including In Yer Face Theatre and his newest Rewriting The Nation: British Theatre Today).

Jasper Rees (Journalist, writer and critic for publications including Daily Telegraph, Jasper has just published his newest book, Bred of Heaven)

 

On the day we also have the four National Theatre Wales / Literature Wales New Critics (Ben Bryant, Megan Jones, Dylan Moore and Adam Somerset) ; Arwel Gruffydd (director and Artistic Director of Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru) ; Hazel Walford Davies (Academic, writer and literary critic) and other exciting panelists soon to be announced. 

 

The Day will be introduced and overseen by our very own John McGrath!

hey how do we get tickets? just tried at RWCMD and they had no information about the event.
