Beth yw Pasbort Diogelwch Diwydiannau Creadigol?

Mae'r Pasbort Diogelwch Diwydiannau Creadigol yn gwrs un diwrnod iechyd  a diogelwch a'i gynlluniwyd yn benodol ar gyfer gweithwyr, cyflogedig neu llawrydd, sy'n gweithio mewn ffilm, teledu, theatr a digwyddiadau byw. Mae'n hybu diwylliant o ddiogelwch yn seiliedig ar gyfrifoldeb personol am ddiogelwch. Mae hyn yn golygu ei fod yn annog cynrychiolwyr i fod yn rhagweithiol o ran eu diogelwch eu hunain a diogelwch pobl eraill.

Wedi ei achredu gan y Sefydliad Diogelwch ac Iechyd Galwedigaethol (IOSH) o dan eu cynllun pasbort (cynllun a gydnabyddir yn genedlaethol) ynghyd a dilyn canllawiau maes llafur Gweithred Iechyd a Diogelwch  (HSE) mae'r cwrs yn dilyn Safonau Galwedigaethol Cenedlaethol Creative Skillset  mewn Iechyd a Diogelwch X2, X3 a X3.5 a Côd Ymddygiad BECTU / TMA ar gyfer 'get-ins' / 'get-outs' . Mae'n gymhwyster lefel 2 sy'n ddilys am 3 blynedd ac yn dod gyda llyfr gwaith a cherdyn adnabod. Bydd pawb sy'n derbyn Pasbort Diogelwch yn cael eu cofrestru ar y gronfa ddata ganolog IOSH.   Gyda gymaint o gyflogwyr yn gofyn am dystiolaeth o hyfforddiant iechyd a diogelwch mae BECTU yn darparu cymhwyster achrededig sy'n berthnasol i weithwyr diwydiannau creadigol.

 

What is the Creative Industries Safety Passport?

The Creative Industries Safety Passport is a one day health & safety course designed specifically for workers, employed or freelance, working in film, TV, theatre and live events. It promotes a safety culture based on personal responsibility for safety. This means that it encourages delegates to be pro-active in their own safety and the safety of others.  

The course is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) under their Passport scheme which is a nationally recognised scheme and follows The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) syllabus guidelines as well as Creative Skillset’s National Occupational  Standards in Health & Safety X2, X3 and X3.5 and the BECTU/TMA (Theatrical Management Association) Code of Conduct for Get-in/ Get-outs. It is a level 2 qualification that is valid for 3 years and comes with a workbook and a robust credit card size ID card with a HoloKote finish which is tamper proof. All Safety Passport holders are registered on the IOSH central database so verification is an easy process. With so many employers asking for proof of health and safety training BECTU is providing an accredited qualification that is relevant to creative industries workers.

CYNNWYS Y CWRS

Mae'r cwrs yn cwmpasu'r sgiliau sylfaenol angenrheidiol yn y maes iechyd a diogelwch yn ogystal â canolbwyntio ar beryglon sy'n benodol i'r diwydiannau creadigol.

Mae'r cwrs wedi'i rannu fewn i 5 modiwl:

  •  Cyflwyno diogelwch y diwydiant creadigol; mae hyn yn cynnwys pwysigrwydd iechyd a diogelwch, deddfwriaeth  iechyd a diogelwch, dyletswyddau cyflogeion, hunangyflogedig a chontractwyr o dan y Ddeddf Iechyd a Diogelwch yn y Gwaith 1974, yswiriant, cynrychiolwyr diogelwch ac  arolygwyr.
  • Diffinio peryglon a risg; mae hyn yn cynnwys asesiadau risg - peryglon a risgiau, cymhwysedd, matrics risg, rheoli risg, beth sy'n resymol ac yn ymarferol, asesiadau risg dynamig a canfyddiadau risg.
  • Peryglon a mesurau rheoli ymarferol; mae hyn yn cynnwys trydan, offer arddangos sgrin , gweithio ar uchder, codi a chario, llithro a baglu, offer gwaith, sylweddau peryglus a sŵn.
  • Mesurau cyffredin yn y gweithle; mae hyn yn cynnwys amser gwaith, lles, cyfarpar diogelu personol (PPE), arwyddion a signalau, cymorth cyntaf, damweiniau, adrodd am ddamweiniau, gyrru, straen, trais, gweithio unigol, alcohol a chyffuriau a thân a'r amgylchedd.
  • Cyfrifoldeb personol am ddiogelwch; mae hyn yn edrych ar sut y gall unigolyn gwneud gwahaniaeth.

Mae'r cwrs yn defnyddio cymysgedd o arddulliau dysgu, gan gynnwys fideo a thrafodaeth i wella'r profiad dysgu. Gall cynrychiolwyr ddod â materion go iawn i drafod  i gynyddu perthnasedd y cwrs. Mae'r hyfforddwyr yn achrededig gyda  IOSH ac mae ganddynt gyfoeth o wybodaeth a phrofiad o weithio yn y diwydiannau creadigol.

Mae dau asesiad ar ddiwedd y cwrs a rhaid cael 70% yn yr asesiadau i fod yn gymwys i gael pasbort.  Mae cwestiynau amlddewis ac ysgrifenedig yn y papur cyntaf a papur asesu risg yw'r ail. 

COURSE CONTENT 

The course covers the basics a delegate needs in health & safety as well as focusing on specific hazards that come up in the creative industries.

 The course is split into 5 modules:

  • Introducing creative industry safety; this covers why health & safety matters, health & safety legislation, duties of employees, self employed and contractors under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, insurance, safety reps & inspectors.
  • Defining hazard and risk; this covers risk assessments - hazards and risks, competence, risk matrix, controlling risk, what is reasonably practicable, dynamic risk assessments & risk perceptions.
  • Hazards and practical control measures; this covers electricity, display screen equipment, working at height, manual handling, slips and trips, work equipment, hazardous substances & noise.
  • Common workplace measures; this covers working time, welfare, personal protective equipment (PPE), signs and signals, first aid, accidents, accident reporting, driving, stress, violence, lone working, alcohol & drugs and fire & the environment.
  • Personal responsibility for safety; this looks at how an individual can make a difference.

The course uses a mix of teaching styles, including video and discussion to enhance the learning experience. Delegates can bring real issues and near miss incidents to increase the relevance of the course. All the trainers are IOSH accredited and have a wealth of knowledge and experience working in the creative industries. 

The course has two assessment papers which both require a seventy percent (70%) pass mark to be eligible to receive a passport. The first is a twenty question written paper with multiple choice and written answers and the second is a spot the hazard risk assessment paper.
