Day 26 - Green Tea and a big fat cheque! - Aberystwyth

I took the red card left by the postman to the post office and collected the white bubble wrapped parcel. The post office depot is just out of town on the industrial estate, thankfully I still had the hire car. Inside the package were five boxes of green tea. 5 different varieties. There was also a note requesting that I let the sender know which one was best. Thank-you sender!

I took the car up to the welcome centre at the university and collected my maintenance cheque. A deceptively large amount of money that needs to last until the end of June. Then I went to Morrisons and bought Poppy a 'decorate it yourself' ginger bread egg pack for next Sunday. It was my intention to collect her from school but it turned out that she had been unwell and had stayed home with her mum.

I have found recently that significant bursts of activity are followed by a come down in which I find it hard to get things done. When this happens I resort to writing lists. This seems to help. Eg.

1) Get up
2) Get washed
3) Get dressed
4) Have breakfast
5) Brush teeth and floss....

.... and so on. This seems to work on some level.

On Sunday I am going to draw myself a time table. Teaching was easy in many respects because hour by hour you know where you are supposed to be and what you are supposed to be doing. Now that I don't have that structure I am going to have to create it for myself. Create a timetable and then deviate from it rather than planning around the traveling.
