It's getting dirty down at the Park and Dare . . .

It's really hotting up now in the Park and Dare as we open Tonypandemonium tonight and count down the days until our fantastic celebration of new Welsh theatre writing, Dirty Gifted and Welsh. Catherine and Tim have already whetted your appetites with their blogs, but with a week to go I want to give you a real taste of exactly what this day has in store!

Start the day off with a coffee or a pint when the bar opens at 10am (it is a Dirty event, after all!) Then carry on from there with a whole day packed full of work by these writers:

Sandra Bendelow, Brad Birch, Rhiannon Boyle, Matthew Bulgo, Lisa Jen Brown, Katherine Chandler, Helen Griffin, Tracy Harris, Matt Hartley, Kelly Jones, Patrick Jones, Kit Lambert, Carmen Medway-Stephens, Benjamin Partridge, Hassan Panero, Aled Roberts, Alun Saunders, Frank Thomas, Matthew Trevannion and Roger Williams.

Taking part in our Women Writer’s Panel will be:  Lisa Jen Brown, Katherine Chandler, Helen Griffin, Lisa Parry and Rachel Trezise.

So you've kicked off with that beer, coffee and now you're onto a pack of pork scratchings, and now you're in the mood for a Dirty Day of new writing:

10-11:

Writers' Surgeries: come and meet some key players from NTW, DP and other organisations. Sign up for a 10 minute informal meet on the day and find out how to get your work commissioned from John McGrath, ask your questions on working with Producers to NTW's Executive Producer (Lisa Maguire) or sit down with Catherine Paskell from DP to ask your questions about writer's relationships with Directors. Or talk about anything you like..

Write Stuff, Young Playwright Project. Supported by Literature Wales, RCT and BCBC Arts Development.

11-12:

It then gets doubly more dirty with . . .

Dirty Protest: Plays in a Bag

Missed this -- looks like it was jam-packed and no doubt a great event. Hope it went well!
