An Exhibition Celebrating Talent in British Theatre Design

The national design for performance exhibition ‘Transformation and Revelation’ is now open at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see a selection of the most ground breaking designs for performance by some of the UK’s most talented and prolific theatre designers.

The exhibition includes over 200 designs, represented in drawings, paintings and photographs, 3D artefacts, scale models, specialist props, costumes and puppets.

Exhibitors include Richard Hudson (Rushes), Marie-Jeanne Lecca (Agrippina), Paul Brown (Aida), Bob Crowley (The Year of Magical Thinking), Yolanda Sonnabend (Romeo and Juliet), Antony Gormley (Sutra with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui) and Es Devlin (Lady Gaga Monsterball Tour).

The event is organised by the Society of British Theatre Designers, and hosted by The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

A full colour catalogue with editorial text and contributions from over 200 designers will also be available to purchase during (and after) the exhibition.
