Thanks to everyone who got in touch to put their names in the hat for the spare room in the NTW apartment over the weekend of the Edgelands Flash Conference in Edinburgh.

Edgelands is an event being organised by Forest Fringe - the truly excellent innovators behind the revival of the free strand of the Edinburgh Festival, and general purveyors of good ideas.  Anyone can sign up for the Edgelands event, it's all day on Sunday August 21, but we are offering accomodation for the weekend for one lucky person.

In the end we pulled the names out of the hat - or rather we asked Empty Pocket Theatre who were visiting for a meeting to pull names out of the hat for us.

Sita Clavert-Evans was the winning name.  Sita - get in touch to arrange your accomodation details and make sure you have signed up for Edgelands.

We also have a second room available on the Saturda night before Edgelands only.  Second name out of the hat was Richard Huw Morgan.

If either Richard or Sita can't make it, third name to pop out was Adele Thomas.  So Adele if you successfully assassinate Sita or Richard before 21 August, there's a space for you.

And do remember everyone that you can still get involved in Edgelands, even without the benefit of NTW porridge in the morning.  I'll be there too, and I'm looking forward to an exciting day.

Hi John, Haven't been assassinated yet, but been delightfully digital free on holiday in Eryri for the past week. Back now and will check asap if i can manage Edgelands with just the Saturday accomodation and get back to you.

Thanks John!

For everyone who can't make it, we still very much want you to feel like you have the opportunity to be meaningfully involved. One of the most important parts of the day will be the conversation that will be happening online around the event - we'll be uploading images, video and audio of things happening on the day to the website over here. You can also follow everything and contribute via twitter using the hashtag #edgelands.

We'll also start a new conversation thread here in the NTW community where people can leave their thoughts and contribute in any way they might want to without having to be in Edinburgh.

If anyone has any other thoughts or suggestions please do let us know and we'll be sure to try and incorporate them.

Cheers!

Andy
