For the past three weeks I have had the privilege of working with Kym Epton of Red Cell Films on a short feature about the educational experiences of young people throughout Wales.  We intend to showcase this in the Pierhead Building as part of the BDP Senedd event in March but it has also been of enormous benefit to us in terms of our own consultation process surrounding the development of an NTW approach to education.  I would like to offer my gratitude to all of the participants who each offered insightful, entertaining and heartfelt responses.  They were also full of wonderful ideas about how we, as their nation's theatre can best engage with them.

We heard from a wide range of young people, who each have differing educational backgrounds and it was very interesting to hear about what matters most to them when it comes to their education.   An enormous thank you to:

Bryn Hafren Comprehensive School, Barry

Ocean Park Academy, Cardiff

Mess up the Mess Theatre Company, Ammanford

Castle School, Narberth

Bridgend Home Education Network, Tondu

Mount Stuart Square Primary School, Cardiff

Penrhos Alternative Education Centre, Colwyn Bay

At the Senedd event we will be asking for written audience responses to the views of the young people involved so, if you can, please do come along and add your views to this discussion!
