EMERGENCE WALK Swansea Tomorrow!!

Are you an artist interested in the role of arts in society in terms of creating a life sustaining future without f***ing up the planet?

Sunday 17th March Start 10am (Finish time in Mumbles around 3pm and then bus back. Return transport not provided)

Are you interested in meeting other artists with an interest in sustainability, social change, activism, ecology and well-being? This is an informal walking gathering of artists and creative practitioners interested in sharing conversations about their practice. It is a place to reveal inspirations, questions, and concerns and to connect with others similarly inspired, concerned and questioning.

We will meet at 229 High Street at 10am to introduce ourselves and our theme of sustainability in relation to artists and their practice. After this we will set off walking to Mumbles along the beach and seafront, finishing at Verdi’s café. This is a chance to meet with other artists, to walk and talk, to enter into dialogue about what is important to you. Bring snacks for the journey and waterproofs if you think you need them.

Free but booking essential. To register please email fern@volcanotheatre.co.uk

The Emergence walk is just one of the events in the final week of The Birthday Party – an event which celebrates 25 years of Volcano Theatre. For details of other performances and events see http://www.volcanotheatre.co.uk/735/productions/birthday-party-even...
