I thought you might all be bored of looking at my face so I figured I would type a blog.

Last week I was lucky enough to get a hold of the keys to the NTW Warehouse to start work on a project called Escape Earth. It  began after going to a few spoken word nights around Wales and discovering some very interesting very talented people. I thought it would be a good idea to get these people in a room together and talk about working on a project. So after weeks of trying to get everyone in the same room at the same time there we were all meeting as a group for the first time in an empty freezing cold warehouse in Cardiff.

Who were the chosen few you may ask,well the TEAM was Frank Thomas, Omar Fadhil, Ruffstylz and myself.

We worked on the theme of escaping earth with everyone writing individual pieces with there own interpretation of the theme. The first few days were spent putting these together and creating a very basic skeleton script. After that we started exploring the space and bringing the text to life not to give to much away here is a sneak peek at some of the action.

At the end of the week we had two showings of what we had been up to, to get some feedback from fresh eyes on the piece this is always a nervous and exciting point of the project . I would like to take this chance to thank everyone who attended and for the useful feedback. It was a really enjoyable week and one thing is for sure this isn't the end of the project and some of that feedback will help shape how the piece develops. So look out for a more finished show of Escape Earth in the future. Hopefully we will reunite the team and there may even be some new faces.
