Hi!

So larp stands for Live Action RolePlay.

I'm trying to spread the word about and recruit interested players for some Nordic larps, to be played in South Wales. These kind of larps are played in black boxes (or studio spaces) with very little props, no costume and a set-up/narrative that's much closer to reality than your regular fantasy larp.

They usually take about 6 hours to play. Although they're still high in drama, they're much more imbedded in reality so no costume, very little props and using lights and sound. They tend to be smaller in numbers too, ranging between 2 and 20 players usually. Examples of situations are- waiting for someone at an airport when their plane goes down, an advertising agency with a looming deadline of projects that challenge your ethics, being underground in quarantine trying to avoid a pandemic illness or even a dinner party where relationships are one big, complicated web.

Are you interested in coming to play? Email me at bethan@bethanmarlow.com and I'll add you to the mailing list so you can be kept in the loop.

It'll be fun!
