What is my purpose?
What am I doing?

Those are questions I have found myself pondering over the last few months. As I suspect many others will ask themselves those questions too at some point.
Is it ok to not know what you're doing in life? Damn right it is!
As my nan always says 'Rome wasn't built in a day' and neither will our journeys. It takes time.

That being said I've chosen a quote from George Bernanrd Shaw this week



'Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself'



We have endless possibilities. WE can be whatever we want to be. The power is in our own hands. We can create ourselves in our own image and through that, set ourselves on a journey that will make yourself happy. No one else.
We could spend our whole lives trying to 'find' ourselves, especially when we get lost for whatever reason. And we will get lost along the way. We're human after all. We're not perfect
And we're all still young (50 is the new 30 and so on..) so there is plenty of time to try out new things, make new choices, be spontaneous and create a 'you' that you're happy and content with.
I believe the choices we make in life forge us on a path and we make different choices, so we can go on different paths. The point I'm getting at is that these choices help 'create' the people we are going to become and yes we will make wrong choices and go down some wrong paths but ultimately we will get to where we want to be and will be happy with the people we've become
